« It’s hard not to get scared and fall into guilt and shame when you suddenly bump into your own shadow. Nowadays society is actively supporting constructive dialogue and positive thinking, so usually it’s impossible to feel explicit anger, to be aggressive or to take revenge. We are taught that anger has to be suppressed or hidden. However, everything that hides in the dark, someday comes out. Often in radical and demolishing shapes. Since anger is less acceptable than sadness, society usually accuses and encourages us to make amends. How can one confess when they are not guilty? A blame that is not redeemed is an endless source of tears, on the bottom of which, there is suicide.
When you choose anger instead of guilt for the first time, you may see how much energy and life it contains. If you accept the darkest and most terrifying side, you may find a source in it. The endless source of tears becomes the source of power, courage and inspiration. Self-acceptance and adequate feedback from significant others allow us to fall into extreme forms of aggression. And choose the “bright side”, knowing that the abyss is not that dangerous anymore. »
